Кети Топурия родилась 9 сентября 1986 года в Тбилиси. Отец – Андро Топурия, по образованию инженер-строитель, занимался бизнесом. Позже стало известно, что он является криминальным авторитетом. В 2010 году отец Кети, взявший к тому времени фамилию Санодзе, был осужден на три года, и вскоре скончался в колонии от сердечной недостаточности. Мать – Натальи Топурия, инженер-химик.
С 8 до 12 лет будущая звезда училась в школе-студии юных манекенщиц. Музыкой Кети начала заниматься в детстве. Учительница пения, которая жила по соседству, обратила внимание родителей на способности ребенка и порекомендовала девочке серьезно заниматься вокалом.
В 1998 году Топурия окончила детскую музыкальную школу имени Гоги Судрадзе. В 12 лет она получила свою первую награду – заняла первое место на международном конкурсе «Море дружбы».
В 14 лет Кети стала обладательницей Гран-при международного конкурса «Путь к звездам». По окончании музыкальной школы будущая звезда поступила в музыкальное училище, которое окончила в 2003 году.
После училища будущая певица поступила в Государственный университет Грузии на факультет психологии. Но ради участия в группе AStudio Кети Топурия пришлось пожертвовать высшим образованием.
Дело в том, что группу покинула Полина Гриффис, и музыканты стали искать новую вокалистку. Знакомая Кети, известный грузинский продюсер Нато Думбадзе, предложила послушать эту пластинку музыкантам из группы AStudio, когда те приехали на гастроли в Тбилиси. Ребятам вокал девушки понравился. Она произвела на них такое сильное впечатление, что они предложили ей переехать в Москву и стать солисткой группы.
Кети Топурия: «В детстве у меня были кассеты с записями песен этой группы, но я даже подумать не могла, что когда-нибудь буду работать с любимыми музыкантами, — говорит Кети. — Мама очень удивилась и обрадовалась, когда узнала, что я стала солисткой в таком известном коллективе. А теперь и сама познакомилась с ребятами».

Долгое время Кети отказывалась комментировать свою личную жизнь, однако в 2010 году стало известно, что у певицы роман с бизнесменом Львом Гейхнером, с которым она познакомилась через общих друзей. Летом 2013 года возлюбленный солистки AStudio впервые публично сделал девушке предложение. Знаменательное событие состоялось 18 июня в рамках празднования дня рождения Максима Галкина.
7 сентября 2013 года певица Кети Топурия и бизнесмен Лев Гейхман сочетались браком в одном из московских ЗАГСов. 9 сентября в концертном зале Барвиха Luxury Village прошла торжественная часть их свадьбы, а также празднование 27-го дня рождения Кети Топурия.
В составе группы AStudio Кети Топурия записала альбомы: «Улетаю» (2005), «905» (2007), «ХХ» (2007), «Total» (2007), «Волны» (2010), а также снялась в клипах: «Улетаю» (2005), «Ночь-подруга» (2005), «Ты» (2005), «Еще люблю» (2007), «Бегу к тебе» (2007), «Сердцем к сердцу» (вместе с группой «Отпетые Мошенники», 2007), «Ангел» (2007), «Так же как все» (2009), «Утренняя гимнастика (Будем жить)» (вместе с Леонидом Руденко, 2010), «Fashion Girl» (2010), «Просто прощай» (2012), «Раз и навсегда» (совместно с 3XL Pro, 2013), «Папа, мама» (вместе с Игорем Крутым, 2013).
16 июня 2015 года у Кети Топурии и ее супруга Льва Гейхмана родилась дочь Оливия. Роды певицы прошли в США, куда она улетела вместе с мужем весной.
